March 8, 2000. Manila Chapter (MC) held two meetings after the Ati-atihan sortie. The first one was on February 12. In attendance were Edwin, Rene, Felouyle, Julieta, Metheline, Josel, Rosella, Arvie, Edinor and Mina. Rey Torres was on a medical mission and Felix had to attend his boss' birthday party.

Second meeting, also at Anthony's place found Edwin, Metheline, Rosella, Arvie, Edinor, Felix, Emerson and Rene.

Because of the need to submit papers to the SEC, MC decided to elect Arvie as president, Edinor remains as treasurer, Josel as Auditor. Rene and Rosella are vice presidents.

The bank account with BPI Family was opened. Initial fund is P50,000.

MC is waiting for feedback on the proposals/ideas conveyed to the steering committee late last year. Meanwhile, MC will try to tap known classmate networks to drum up interest in the event.

Pictures are also being collected for the annual. These are being scanned and stored for retrieval in the future.

Solicitation will commence immediately after the stationery is completed. Notwithstanding, the first P7,000 was solicited from an insurance broker.

MC will hold its summer outing tentatively on April 15. Probable venue: Pansol, Laguna. Everyone is invited. Food assignments were distributed. It was decided for a small group to meet to sort out preparations for the outing.

Anthony will be the commencement speaker for ACHS' graduation exercise on March 16.

Arvie will get in touch with Kalibo to follow up ongoing preparations. July is just around the corner.
